In 1865, Wombeyan became the first area in Australia to be reserved for the protection of caves and there are still structures dating from the early 1900s in some caves.
Extra cave tours are scheduled for most public holidays and can be booked at the time of your visit.
Step back in time to the 1880s when Goulburn was one of the first regional centres to supply piped drinking water to its residents.
The Goulburn Historic Waterworks has remained intact with a pump house and working steam beam engine. It is located in an idyllic setting on the banks of the Wollondilly River.
